Dad was discharged on Thursday after 9 grueling days of hospitalization. I truly understand when people say “Home, sweet home.” We feel welcome here. There is familiarity and comfort. No more impersonal white walls, daily 3 a.m. blood draws, and unappetizing hospital food.
